Fall is all about layers because you never know what the weather is going to bring. Also, I love a look that can carry me from work to a dinner date with just a few tweaks (but this is true for any season!). It’s simply about being realistic; we are all busy and we need something elegant and versatile that will make us feel great all day long.
At the moment, I am obsessed with faux leather pants, I think they’re so chic and I love them in brown, beige and rust. I paired mine with a crisp white shirt (THE absolute must-have that transcends seasons), a jumper of course – this one is my favourite, it’s cosy and I love the braid detail – and a pair of leather loafers – definitely my everyday go-to shoes all year round. Time to accessorise! Depending on how my schedule looks for the day I either go for a tote or a crossbody bag that doubles up as a clutch.
After work I just pop the collar, add some chunky gold jewellery, swap my nude lipstick for a darker shade, and I am ready!
